As we know Donald Trump defeated the democratic party by a great margin and a major factor was his policies. He is soon going to be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States, it is a big achievement for the right and they are busy celebrating.
The left on the other hand are playing the blame game, trying to pin the responsibility on someone for Kamala Harris’s defeat. From Joe Biden to Tayler Swift, almost everybody is being blamed for the horrible defeat and the reasons are very hilarious.
None of the left is even trying to consider the main reasons for Kamala’s defeat, one of which, probably the most important, was the policies upon which they were running for the election. The elections proved that the majority of the country, which was approximately seventy-five million voters, agreed with Trump’s policies compared to the left wing.
We will discuss here the major Trump policies, what they were, and how they were relating to the general public that they elected him their president.
Inflation is one of the biggest reasons why the American people were angry with the Biden administration. The inflation rate was about 1% in the four years of Trump in office despite COVID-19. But during the Biden administration, it rose up to 10%. It was mostly due to America sending billions of dollars in aid to allied countries such as Ukraine and Israel.
The American people were furious that their hard-earned tax dollars were being paid into wars that had nothing to do with them. It was a great point of significance in the presidential debates and interviews, that the USA is involved in unnecessary warfare and because of that under trillions of dollars in debt.
The normal working-class Americans were feeling the heat of the downward economy as they could not afford the prices of groceries, gas, and food. They were trying to get an honest answer from Kamala Harris who is the candidate from the left and was part of the administration for four years.
This is the part where everything gets interesting, the left-wing media was shockingly heard saying that America had the best economy in the world and it just FEELS like the inflation is high. This rhetoric was repeated on several left-wing media outlets, and it made the public angry, as they were trying so hard to make ends meet, and some millionaire on TV tells them that there is no inflation, you just feel it that way.
Immigration was also one of the biggest issues of the 2024 elections. Trump in 2016 was very hard on immigration as he introduced many controversial laws like the Muslim ban and Travel ban, the most controversial proposal of Donald Trump was the Wall. He proposed that he would build a wall along the border of Mexico which would be hundreds of miles long, which he later built a part of.
In 2020 when Donald Trump lost the election, the Biden administration demolished the Trump immigration policies through an executive order and then allowed what seemed to be called the largest immigration in American history, as about 1.2 to 1.5 million immigrants estimated, entered into the United States.
The Biden administration gave refuge to the immigrants and used a lot of public taxes in their accumulation, which ultimately had a drastic effect on the economy and the safety of the citizens. The people didn’t like the no check and balance policy for immigration as they feared for their safety and struggled through the drowning economy.
There were many debates about whether or not the Biden administration was the culprit of open borders, and Donald Trump and his team pushed on this issue and let this known to the public that the border situation is much worse than his electoral tenure which was 2016-2020. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris completely dodged this question because she knew that her case was weak on this issue.
Due to the sudden rise of the number of illegal migrants to hundreds and thousands, and abolishing the harsh penalties for theft and vandalism, the crime rate tore the roof. The people felt insecure in their homes and shops were rendered in daylight. People were being mugged and stabbed, only to be caught and then set free due to certain immunities.
The lack of safety of their families and businesses, made people anxious and uneasy as they recalled the tenure of Donald Trump who was hard on crime and penalties were severe. There were multiple cases where illegal immigrants did ferocious atrocities on little girls. There were also reports of Venezuelan gangs taking control of multiple apartment complexes and controlling them for their criminal activities. This came as really shocking news for the American people as they heard that it all was happening inside of America, not in any third-world country.
This all added fuel to the fire and enraged people over the Biden administration. Americans thought that they were safe and secure the most powerful country on earth, but in fact, they were not.
To run the programs to support illegal aliens, the Biden administration raised taxes, due to which the prices of everyday necessities rose sky-high. On top of that, they were repeating the rhetoric that their economy was the strongest in the world and people were just feeling things.
The American people had seen through the administration’s lies and were not buying it. They were curious about the government spending of their hard-earned, taxpayer dollars on foreign wars and illegal aliens benefits. They didn’t want to elect an administration that made their lives harder and didn’t even provide them security. Rather it was more worried about the Ukraine and Israel wars that they didn’t have funds to help their people who were devastated by the Helene hurricane.
The Department of FEMA clearly stated that they didn’t had enough money to help people who were affected by the hurricane Helene. Following the same month the government announced 150 million dollars in aid for the Ukraine war, which devastated many Americans who were expecting help from their government in their time of need.
These were just some of Donald Trump’s election campaign policies, and the reasons for his policies, due to which he was able to secure a historic win among the American voters.
