Kamala Harris is the first female Vice President in the United States and the first woman of color to hold this position. While Democrats rejoice over these facts and treat her with absolute respect and immunity, the Republicans and the Independents are not so fond of her behavior both as a political leader and a vice President.

 

While Joe Biden is the president right now and was hoping to run for another term, he has been outrun by his own vice president, Kamala Harris, as his physical and mental condition is not up to par with that of a nation’s president. But that has been another problem for the current governing party as Kamala Harris faces a rather hilarious and astonishing problem as the 2024 elections are just days away.

 

Problem with Kamala Harris’s Communication Style

 

While Kamala was absent from press briefings and media while she was Vice President for about 4 years, Biden did almost all of that as he was experienced in this matter. However, since Kamala Harris is now running for President she started showing up in front of the media but then Democrats were met with the unexpected conundrum, that she doesn’t know how to talk to the media, or how to talk about politics at all.

 

There are a lot of problems that she faces while talking such as repetitions of words, using synonyms again and again in the same sentence, vague and unclear answers, using buzzwords and political terminologies in answering almost any question. We are going through some of her answers from her media tour for the Presidential campaign that attracted most of the criticism from not just from the right wing but all across the globe.

 

Appearance on 60 Minutes

   The most criticized interview that Kamala Harris got under fire for was her appearance on The 60 Minutes, an American television news program. She was asked about the ongoing Palestine-Israel war and whether Yahoo was an ally or not. But what she answered was nothing less of a joke. She stated

                                       “ Well, Bill the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of U many things including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region”.

If you read this sentence carefully then you will understand that it doesn’t mean anything. It is a bunch of words which are compiled to take your precious time to think about what you actually heard and what to make of it. It just doesn’t make any sense.

 

Appearance on Oprah

 

  The appearance of Kamala Harris on Oprah Winfrey Show is getting criticized worldwide because no.1 it has a bigger audience than any other leftist show and no.2 Kamala’s interview was so interesting on the point that none of the answers matched the original questions that she was asked. Every Kamala’s answer was vague, non-correlated to the question, and also had an extremely long answer that was so out of touch that Oprah had to rescue her by jumping into the conversation randomly and saving her skin.

Problem With Kamala Harris’s Statements

  Whether Kamala Harris is asked about border security, the economy, or even gun control, her answers rarely make any sense except for the time when she admitted that she is a gun owner and will shoot a person if anybody invades her house. This was ironic as the left is long been suggesting gun laws that will ban all guns.

She also mentioned a couple of times her career as an attorney general which already resonates with her Party’s agenda of lenient immigration laws. Needless to say, her Oprah appearance was a train wreck as it bombed so badly that even Biden had a better record than her.

If we structurally approach Kamala Harris’s interviews and statements we can get a pattern of how she talks and what is the reason of her getting criticized by the media and the general population.

Long sentences

  Kamala Harris uses very long sentences while talking about issues. But it is really disturbing when she uses a 50-word sentence to describe a matter that could have been done under 10 sentences.

Her sentences are always rhetorical as they lack a clear meaning.

Buzzwords and synonyms

  She also uses often terms like Unity, Patriotism, Our people, and Our values again and again which always put the matter of discussion aside and make the whole conversation vague and rhetorical. It always leaves a bad taste in your mouth because we have seen politicians do this often when asked a tough question or a question that they want to avoid.

Background story

  This is another problem with her answers. Whenever she’s asked any question, she goes to the past describing her own history or the history related to that question and then goes on and on simply without getting to the point and just answering the simple question. Viewers find it mostly disturbing and the interviewer remains confused whether he got an answer to the question or not.

Common themes.

If you listen to her closely, you will find few keywords that she uses in all of her addresses and that she keeps repeating herself over and over again. Whether it is women empowerment, racial discrimination, social injustice or economic inequality, she finds a way to put them in answers of almost every question.\

The term of the Word Salad

  This term describes the kind of speech which lacks meaning and is incoherent. It typically fails to convey a straightforward meaning and fails to convey any sort of message. It is a jumble of words, mixed together like a salad which sounds sophisticated but does not often mean anything necessarily. Hence the media community came up with a name for it calling it Kmala Harris’s Word Salad.

Whenever she addresses the nation or she is giving an interview to the media, she never misses a chance to provide a new word salad. There is a lot of media criticism toward her ongoing campaign which is her running for president while being in office as the Vice President for the last four years. Social media content creators especially Tiktokers are thankful to her that she provides them with new material every now and then.

Impersonators do a very good job impersonating her words and her famous Cackle, whenever she drops a new word salad. The news hosts, comedy writers, and podcasters on YouTube do segments in which they break down and give a detailed analysis of her word salad. Some of them even got millions of views.

Kamala Harris’s famous Word Salads

  There are a lot of compilations of Kamala Harris’s word salads which are infamous for their uniqueness. The famous one being “the significance of the passage of time”, she repeats this phrase about four times before going towards the part about creating jobs and how important it is for our children. Another one comes to mind when she repeated “Return on investments” for about four times while talking about improving the economy.

Also giving an interview with a US network she repeated the word “Holistically” three times in under thirteen seconds. She also struggled to answer a basic question about her policies about the country’s economics and her message to people who think her policies are not suitable for them. She then took a roundabout path by talking about the ambitions and dreams of the American people hence again avoiding answering the question altogether.

She also said this at an event in Pittsburgh “Let it always inspire us, let it always be the source of our optimism which is that spirit that is so uniquely American and let that then inspire us by helping us to be inspired to solve the problems”, which really does not make any sense at all.

Questions that Kamala Avoids.

Economics

  Kamala Harris says that she would improve the economy, but she always gives a roundabout answer when the question is asked “How?”. Once she answered that she would increase the taxes on the billionaires, which is absolute nonsense because most of the billionaires are funding her campaign rather than the ones who support Trump, which are very few.

Housing

  She said she would cut the red tape and provide middle and lower-class families with cheap housing, again without any plan. She was even asked how is she going to cut that red tape to which she replied she just would. Someone must have never told her that that’s not how things work.

Palestine-Isreal War. She also gives rhetorical answers as I mentioned earlier to the conflict of the Middle East. She does not or cannot give a clear answer about her government’s alliance as she could not displease the voters of either side.

Hurricane Helene.

  This is also been a hot topic as the US was hit with a devastating Hurricane which claimed many lives and destroyed millions of dollars worth of infrastructure. While houses were destroyed and people were homeless, it was a shock to the world to see the lack of federal government response not quick enough or even FEMA lacking funds. The residents of the Hurricane Helene hit areas were devastated enough as they heard the news of Kamala Harris offering a grant of $750 to every affected person, which served as the salt in the wounds of already torn people. She fails to give a proper answer to why the help from the federal government was late and also why FEMA has no funds to support the local people.

Secure Border. The US is also facing a big problem in the case of immigration. Biden administration is now being accused of lowering the standards of immigration and letting about fifteen million immigrants into the country which resulted in disastrous situations, so much so that there are cases of democrats leaving the party because of this decision solely as they think that their government priorities the immigrants over their own nationals. Kamala Harris is asked several times about tightening the border security and providing the US citizens rather than the immigrants, she always sways the answer into gibberish which no one can understand.

Critics Point of View

Lots of critics have pointed out on several occasions that Kamala does not only not possess a grasp on the general issues of the country, but also does not understand a single thing about the foreign policy of the US for which the country is known for the last hundred years. Critics like Joe Rogan and Megyn Kelly have done a lot of segments on their podcasts on the word salads of Kamala Harris.

Megyn Kelly

  Megyn Kelly is a big name in journalism in the US and she does a podcast that is rivaled by News channels. She has a big audience and influence over the American community due to her outspoken and stand-up personality. She has done many interviews with the big names in American politics and also hosted the Presidential debates a couple of times.

Views

  Just a few days ago Megyn Kelly appeared on the All-in Summit 2024 where she was asked a lot of things by the four hosts. When asked about a comparison between Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, she said “Well, Hillary was smart”, and the crowd erupted in laughter. She also added “I really think the problem for Kamala Harris is, she not smart, she not a deep thinker, she’s very surface level” and when an audience member giggled at her comment she added, “Yeah she’s giggling just like that, all the time and its a cover it’s an obvious cover right she just like she gets to the point where she doesn’t know what she’s saying and shes like Aaahahahaaaa, and then you feel uncomfortable watching her”.

Megyn also bashed the CNN reporters, who interviewed Kamala Harris, for a softball interview in which they did not press on the major issues and when they did press on, they didn’t give her a follow-up or rebutted her any word salad answer.

Joe Rogan

  Joe Rogan has the biggest podcast audience in the world. His podcast The Joe Rogan Experience has 17.4 million subscribers. He has a lot of influential people on his podcast, people from journalism, celebrities, comedians, war veterans, etc, and he talks to them about almost everything. On the podcast he exchanges his views with the guests, sometimes he agrees with them sometimes he does not. But there is a mind-opening dialogue every single time which is considered true free speech.

Views

   Joe Rogan criticized multiple times Kamala Harris on her verbal word salads. He had conversations about her with multiple of his guests, and most of them were not fond of her. One of his guests joked about her saying that she has three different drunk personalities and quoted her famous rambling about space, the Ukraine-Russian War, and love for Yellow buses. In the same podcast, they talked about Kamala getting obliterated by Tulsi Gabard, another congresswoman in an electoral debate and how the media who did an autopsy on Kamala’s failed campaign didn’t mention Tulsi once. Joe Rogan also stated that Tulsi was more competent than Kamala, but Congress didn’t want her because she was not a yes-man. It’s Joe Rogan’s theory that if you have a brain of your own, you cannot be elected by the Democrats.

Conclusion

   It is the first time in history that the world sees a political leader running to preside over the most powerful country in the world who lacks the basic linguistics and knowledge to hold up on her own in front of the media. She jumbles her words, gets rhetorical, and does not answer the questions that she’s asked. Rather than being an inspiration as the first woman to hold the US VP office and run for President, she became a laughing stock and a meme all over the internet. People are making TikTok mocking her, YouTubers are criticizing her word by word and the political leaders are advising her to stop making a fool of herself.

But when you look at the left, Democrats are still cheering her, making her seem like this flawless angel averting their eyes from her interviews just because of the hatred of Trump. They still fail to acknowledge the economic stability and lower cost of living that the Trump era had, which is rather high in the Biden-Kamala era and is now a hot topic in the debates and upcoming elections, which are now a few days away from us.
